1 .Press the drilled shell inot the connecting rod big end eye and rotate into position, locating with the tab. (Note, it's been documented that the hole in the connecting rod - which was supposed to squirt oil at the piston skirt to cool it - doesn't work and is un-needed. One "trick" is to swap bearing shells so the drilled one is in the cap side and the undrilled one is in the rod side, such that the hole is effectlvely blocked.)
